NEVER NEVERLAND
Bobbi Carrey & Will McMillan
with Doug Hammer on piano

“Give My Regards to Broadway,” “Broadway Baby,” and “Lullaby of Broadway” – Like Tin Pan Alley, Hollywood, and Motown, Broadway has long been a central part of our musical culture and a major source of memorable songs – songs that cut across time and place. “Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man” from Showboat; “There’s No Business Like Show Business” from Annie Get Your Gun; “Something’s Coming” from West Side Story; “Try to Remember” from The Fantasticks; “Night and Day” from The Gay Divorcee; “I’ll Cover You” from Rent – the list goes on and on and on and on and on.

It was on Broadway where incredible talents such as Jerome Kern, Oscar Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Lorenz Hart, George and Ira Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, and Stephen Sondheim emerged and defined the times in words and music.

Although the theatres have changed, composers have changed, and shows have changed, Broadway survives. Join vocalists Bobbi Carrey and Will McMillan for a walk down “The Great White Way,” as they revive showstoppers from on and off Broadway.

IN GOOD COMPANY

Everything that can be counted does not necessarily count; everything that counts cannot necessarily be counted. Albert Einstein

Throughout time, composers and lyricists have wrestled with the complex relationships between business and society; between business and communities; and between organizations and individuals.

IN GOOD COMPANY includes songs by Jerome Kern and Dorothy Fields, Stephen Sondheim, James Taylor, Craig Carnelia, Jason Robert Brown and others in a musical journey about business and its practices: ethical, unethical, greedy, inspiring, compromised and forward thinking…
