CABARET
On their new CD If I Loved You, local cabaret avatars Bobbi Carrey and Will McMillan show off their attractive pipes and musical control, but also the literate sensitivity that’s so important to the Great American Songbook classics they extol. As for taste, they essay Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Rodgers & Hart, Van Heusen & Cahn - and, okay, a touch of Billy Joel and Carol Bayer Sager. We still swear by Carrey and McMillan's taste, chops, and humor. They celebrate the CD at Scullers, in the DoubleTree Guest Suites Hotel, 400 Soldiers Field Road at the Mass Pike; call (617) 562-4111.
