I’M DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS

Throughout history, songwriters and singers have celebrated Christmas and the holiday season through music. The songs celebrate everything from winter wonderlands to chestnuts roasting on an open fire to coming home for Christmas. From Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” to Sammy Cahn’s & Jules Styne’s “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”–from Mel Torme’s “Christmas Song” to Meredith Willson’s “It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas”–from “Silver Bells” to “Silent Night.”

Remembering Christmas hits by Bing Crosby, Gene Autry, Judy Garland, the Andrew Sisters, Elvis Presley, and others, this show travels from Tin Pan Alley to Broadway to Hollywood, from the 1930’s to the 1960’s to celebrate the holiday season with songs from the past and the present.
